Tererai is a qualified CA with over 12 years’ experience in Financial Services. He joined Metier in September 2016 as CFO of the Capital Growth Funds. He is responsible for financial reporting, regulatory governance, steering operational efficiency and providing support to our investment teams.

Prior to joining Metier, Tererai was a Manager in the Financial Services Group at KPMG, responsible for managing audits of various listed and unlisted companies across various business sectors including banking, property and private equity. In 2014, he was seconded to KPMG’s San Francisco office where he gained experience and insight in the inner workings of Silicon Valley

Wendy Diamond

BCom, BAcc, CA (SA)
Wendy Diamond completed her under-and postgraduate degrees in accounting and commerce at the University of the Witwatersrand. She served articles at Fisher Hoffman PKF in Johannesburg where she qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999.

Wendy then joined Siemens South Africa as Financial Projects Officer. She was responsible for the implementation of US GAAP throughout the South African and African subsidiaries and was a key member of the South African task team involved in the listing of Siemens AG on the NYSE. Wendy joined Brait in 2001 where she acted as a CFO with responsibility for three private equity funds, and as a tax advisor and corporate finance executive in the advisory division where she was involved in the Softline and Aplitec/Net 1 transactions.

Wendy joined the Metier team in 2007 as CFO for the Growth Capital Funds. In September 2016, she stepped down as CFO in order to spend more time with her young family and now works as support to the finance team.

Angelique Pretorius joined Metier in 2008 and completed her BCompt in Accounting Science through UNISA and serves as the financial manager of the Capital Growth Funds.

She works alongside Hettie Trichardt who performs the accounting and bookkeeping support to the Growth Capital Funds, the Sustainable practice and the Metier Group. Over many years of loyal and efficient service both dating back more than a decade with the team to Brait days, they are responsible for all entries, reconciliations and payments with banks and investors alike.

Marina Mogin joined the finance team in 2017 with a specific focus on the Sustainable Practice, she has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Financial Management from the University of Johannesburg. Carmen Solomons, a qualified Professional Accountant (SA) with over 10 years experience in financial services also joined the finance team in 2017 where she focusses on financial management for the Metier Group.

The finance and compliance team is completed by Ansja Raaths who joined Metier in 2007 and has responsibility for company secretarial and compliance areas of the business. Her experience stems from twelve years in portfolio company Fuel Logistics, a leading South African transport and supply chain management group, where she developed from an executive support role into the statutory services arena.
